Middleburg Resident Dies
Mrs. Emma Foster Succumbs to Short Illness
Was Last of Her Family

Emma Fostor, aged 78 years, life-long resident of Middleburg passed away at her home in that place Monday at 2:50 a.m. after a short illness.

She had suffered a stroke of apoplexy Friday at 6:30 p.m. and although she had been in failing health about four years, she had been able to be about the house most of the time.

Mrs. Fostor was the last of a family of four children. Two brothers, Joseph Heath and Elisha Heath, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Vanica, preceded her in death. Abraham Fostor, the husband passed away 12 years ago last Jan. 16. No children were born to this union, but a niece of Mrs. Fostor, Miss Lillian Vanica, who is now Mrs. Lillian Smith, was taken into the home, adopted and tenderly reared as one of their own. She was cared for by Mrs. Smith during her declining years.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of Christ in Middleburg, Wednesday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Mr. Moffet. Burial will be made at Middleburg cemetery.
